Susan Levine is an Emmy nominated Executive Creative Director who is not afraid to take risks and embrace her passions for activism and storytelling. Her track record for leading award-winning integrated work, internal growth, successful new business pitches, and increased ROI makes her an asset to any leadership team.
Launching her career at BBDO/NY, she rose up the ranks from Art Director to SVP Creative Director by creating award winning campaigns for mega brands like Visa and Pepsi. Since then, she’s taken on global rebrands, led creative and production departments at an indie shop in Dallas where her leadership helped win over 65 creative awards, all while launching a charitable line of dog apparel. She is passionate to a fault and has a keen sense of adventure when it comes to what’s next.
In 2018, Susan took on the NRA with a viral campaign against gun violence that received national attention. That experience inspired her to leave the private sector and take on the role of Creative Activist. She has partnered with Giffords and Manuel Oliver of Change the Ref as an advisor and creative confidant while fighting to protect our democracy as Creative Director at the Democratic National Committee where she led the in-house creative department. She believes in the power of creative disruption as a means to break through in a crowded 24/7/365 news cycle.
Today, Susan resides in the East Bay area of SF where she oversees Digital and Content at Clorox’s in-house agency, Electro. Managing a diverse portfolio of brands, Susan’s focus has been on integrating teams to deliver seamless omnichannel experiences across the board.
A native New Yorker, dog lover and entrepreneur, Susan brings a sharp, quick witted, and agile approach to problem solving and is always hungry for a challenge.
